Ham and Jicama Wraps – Jicama is a wonderful root vegetable that doesn’t get enough love. It can almost be described as a savory apple. Nutty and crunchy, this root makes for a fantastic snack. Individually wrap six slices of ham around six slices of jicama. The ham will provide protein and the jicama contains lots of fiber to keep you full on your journey. If jicama isn’t your thing, substitute for celery.

If you are traveling on a plane, pack an empty water bottle in your bag to get past TSA and then fill up when you get through security.
